Visiting our website

The current website is an artwork gallery. It does not offer customer accounts, collect newsletter signups, or process payments.

When you save a print using the heart button, its identifier is stored in your browser's local storage so your selection can remain available on that device. This selection is not sent to a customer database. You can remove saved prints with the heart button or clear this site's data in your browser settings.

Our website is hosted by Vercel. Delivering and protecting the website involves technical information such as your IP address, requested page, browser information and connection timing. Our pages also load typefaces from Google Fonts, which receives the connection information needed to deliver those files. See Vercel's privacy notice and Google's privacy policy.

The current gallery does not include advertising pixels or visitor analytics scripts. Links to Pinterest, Gray Goat Soaps or other websites take you to services with their own privacy practices. Purchases and contact messages on the Gray Goat Soaps website are covered by its separate privacy policy.

Our Pinterest publishing application

The application is an internal tool being developed to publish our original artwork to our own Pinterest business account. Pinterest Trial access is currently pending. The connection and publishing features are not yet active. The following describes the local workflow being implemented; this notice will be updated if its operation changes.

The account owner will connect through Pinterest's authorization page and choose the permissions granted to the application. The application will not request the account owner's Pinterest password or session cookies.

The application will use the authorized account information and board list to identify the connected account and let the owner choose a destination board. The owner will select an artwork, title, description, destination link and other Pin details, review them, and explicitly publish that individual Pin. Pinterest will receive that content and the selected board identifier. Information returned by Pinterest will be used to show connection status, available boards and the result of the requested action.

This workflow does not include automated following, messaging, competitor data collection or unattended publishing. It is not a public service for connecting customers' Pinterest accounts.

Local storage and retention for the publisher

The publisher will run on the operator's computer, separately from the public website. Its connection tokens, permission details and expiration information will be stored in a local file restricted by operating-system file permissions, outside the website's public files. This storage is not encrypted by the application. Tokens will remain until the operator disconnects the application or removes that local file; stopping the application alone will not remove them.

Account and board results, draft details, selected images and publishing results will be handled temporarily in the application or browser's memory rather than written to a publishing database. Temporary server data will be cleared when the application stops; browser data will be cleared when the page is closed or reset. Original artwork files on the operator's computer are separate and will remain there unless the operator deletes them.

The local publisher will not write credentials, tokens, request bodies or returned Pinterest account data to its application logs. Its server connections will be limited to Pinterest's authorization and API services. If the operator selects a hosted image URL, the browser and Pinterest may also request that image from its hosting provider.

Disconnecting and removing information

The publisher's local Disconnect control will remove its token file and clear its temporary connection and draft data. This does not itself revoke authorization at Pinterest or delete Pins already created there. The account owner can remove the application's authorization through Pinterest's settings and manage or delete published Pins in Pinterest.

Saved website favorites can be removed through the heart button or browser settings. For information held by Gray Goat Soaps, you can contact us to ask about access, correction or deletion. Information handled by Pinterest, Vercel, Google or another service is also subject to that service's controls and policies.
